Well that could be anything and I may be paranoid but I notice how when the animal walks across the field a little it looks as if the filming is stopped and then started again because you don't actually see the animal walk so it wouldn't surprise if this was a hoax to be honest.

In my opinion that is a dog. It's such a short clip that it is hard to tell and people could easily think it is a big cat.

I definately do believe big cats are in the wild in the uk but I also know that so many people will make up sightings!

Sounds like the same problem we have in Australia. People see big cats. Big cat kills have been found. Scats, prints and fur have been found. The goverment says we havnt got big cats cos they havent seen a big cat in the flesh.

i know one relation and one very good friend who have both seen big cats ,one in the new forest ,the other in southampton.
They dont know each other, were separate sightings of different colour cats, the only thing in common they both work shifts and saw them on the way to and from work . both at approx 5-30 am,the southampton one was reported to police as it was seen in a built up residential area eating a discarded takeaway the guy was only ten feet from the cat and was so shocked didnt report it for 3 days. more surprising was the response "yeh we know, your the third person this week".interestingly this incident was about 25-30 years ago a long time before it became trendy !

When I lived in Scotland, in Paisley, I saw a mountain lion from my upstairs window in the back yard. On another occasion, months later in the summer, I found a lynx kitten attacking the pet cats in the yard and had to rescue my cat. I only just managed to lock the security door before the mother started hammering it. Another resident also saw it, alerted by his barking dog. From upstairs, I caught sight of the back of the lynx mother in motion, but that's all. I didn't have a video camera and our ordinary camera was broken at the time. It was quite terrifying. I tried to report it to the police, who weren't interested. I then contacted the Cat Rescue People there, who said lots of others had reported big cats and that the authorities knew, but did nothing.

I've spent some time in Kenya & spoken to many trackers & safari leaders, all would say. Avoid eye contact, avoid running, turn at slight angle to cat & step slowly away.

I live in Coleford in the Forest of Dean. From my Lounge window I watch birds in my garden and foxes, badgers and rabbits in a field a short distance away. Whilst looking for the daily appearance of foxes, I saw a large Black cat. It was enourmous.Ihave seen pnthers in various zoo parks over the years and this was similar. I am used to seeing domestic cats hunting in this field and it was definitly not a domestic cat. Thi was 3 weeks ago and my son just told me I should tell someone as people are gathering information about these cats. I also saw this cat at the same time of year last year, but thought no one would believe me so didn't bother. The field has sheep in most of the time and this is of course lambing season(good feeding for Big cats?)

I believe it is a dog print, just that the snow was a little slipy so the paw stroked back making the print larger. The other thing is cats don't leave claw marks and the angles and shape of the pads are not cat like but dog.
