favour for a friend( Trying to locate my father)

Posted in Uncategorized on July 22, 2010 by paulwestwood

I am trying to locate my father called Andrew, surname unknown.. His last known whereabouts was that he was working for a building firm in 1968, which was renovating Leman Street Police Station, 74 Leman Street,London E1 8EU.Does anyone recall the company that did the work?

Maybe you worked for a company called Mansells or Mcalpine and knew someone called Andrew. He knew my mother, Eileen Payne.

Any help no matter how small would be most helpful.

DEFRA report

Posted in Uncategorized on February 25, 2010 by paulwestwood

DEFRA has complied a report in to sightings of reported exotic species in the UK. Of particular interest is sightings of big cats from 2001 to 2006 of which consisted a total of 60.

In all cases there was no evidence to back up the sightings. No photographic evidence, no animal kill evidence, no paw print evidence.

Granted the majority of sightings can be explained away but it’s the minority of reports that cannot.

I think it is time that DEFRA made it a requirement that veterinarians take DNA samples of any animal kills that are suspected to have been carried out by big cats.

Maybe then we will have the proof we have all been waiting for.
